
The
Board of Directors meet the third Thursday of each
month at 6:00 p.m.
The
Board of Directors consists of a staff of volunteers.
Duties of these volunteer Board members will vary
in accordance with the needs of the Museum, the
Woodall Mountain Market Gift Shop, and the John
Marshall Stone Research Library. According to the
bylaws of the Tishomingo County Historical &
Genealogical Society (TCHGS), terms for Board members
will last three years. Beginning in 2006, Board
meetings were held quarterly. Beginning in 2010,
Board meetings were held monthly. At the annual
meeting of the Board of Directors, the board shall
elect from their membership a President, Vice President,
Recording Secretary, Corresponding Secretary, and
Treasurer. All directors shall serve a term of three
(3) years or until their successors are elected
and qualified. Any officer may serve successive
terms without limitation as long as they are in
good standing.
